Yes JcPenney Salon does do extensions, weave, glue, and fusion. Lol, well I work at JcPenney Salon. Anyways, it totally varies, that's why we offer a free consultation. We have 3 different levels of hairstylists, each with a different price range. There is a stylist, senior stylist, and a master stylist. Obviously the master is the most expensive.
So anyways, depending on what you are getting, and the method of application, you are looking to spend at least a $100 to $200. If you get them weaved in, and a full weave, then you are looking to spend about $400, but that's for the San Fran bay area...could be cheaper where you live. If you get a half weave, like just a few tracks, then you are looking to spend about $200. But again, totally depends on the stylist and the method. JcPenney does offer the fusion method, but that will cost at least $500-$700 for a full head of hair.
Also, you have to buy your own hair, the stylist can get it for you, but it will cost about $100-$200 for a full head of hair, and $50-$100 for a half weave. Make sure you go to a good hair supply store, one that carries human hair so you can style it. Have them match the extensions to your hair, indoors and out in the sun.
As for time, you are looking to be there about 2 hours to 4 hours, depends on how many tacks you are getting.

i prob dont live any where near you but i can tell you dont get the hair extensions where they wax hair to your natural hair its a waste they mat easier and hurt like hell ask for the draw metal clips they attact to your hair are as strong as and when they start to grow out you can get them pull back up all again my friends cost her $800(aud) which is cheeper than the wax extensions

I have the same extensions. I just took a thick thread and sewed it in just like i was doing a shirt or something, then I super glued over the thread to make it stay 100%.

ok so you want hair extensions for the pri e your asking i take it you dont want real hair i would reccomend real hair though the fake hair isnt worth buying i mean 20 inch hair extensionns that are real hair are gunna be round about 拢49.99 ihave had 14 18 and 20 inches and the 18 inches are 拢37.99 so i dont think you would be able to get real hair extensions for 拢30 unless you try ebay
but if your willing to pay a little more i would highley reccomend the site below

I have the glue bond extentions.. They are good, but the only problem is, they come out easily and the bonds get sticky quickly.. they only last a month then I have to have a few more put in and taken out. matrix color smart should do the trick. it is really much more professional than sunsilk, and will leave your hair healthier in the long run too.

Be prepared to spend around $150 or more for real extensions because it can get expensive when its professional. They want really freaky colors, but its ok. They are only young once and you will be a really ';cool'; mom to her. I think thats important. They are getting to that age where we need them to still be open to us. I think bonding over hair is a really good ';in'; into her life.

It all depends, you can have them sewed or glued in. If you go to the salon and have them sewed in they will last longer prolly around 3-4mths depending on if u take good care of them. If you glue them in, you will prolly get to keep them in for about 3-4wks and its really hard to get the glue out. U have to put a glue bond remover lotion and massage it on ur hair to get it out. As for the inches, you can get them basically any inch I think ranging from 8-24inches.. I'm not sure if it actually goes to 24inches but I kno if definitely goes to 18inches. And if u think that's 2 long u can always cut it urself or have a beautican cut it for u in a style. As for how u get it done, some salons u can buy the hair there and they will do it for u. I kno that it may cost a lot. but usually u can get on the interent or go to a local store and buy the hair and then take it to the salon and get it done. U would have to ask the ppl who are going to do it 4 u. If u are going to use the glue, jus go to a place where you bought the hair and they should have the glue there, they make it in black for black ppl and white for white ppl. lol. Price range is differnet depending on the quality and if u want synthetic or actual human hair.. Human hair u can curl and do all that good stuff wit it, and its more. Synthetic u cannot curl it. They usually come in big bulk ranging anywhere from $8.99-$53.00 or more a pack. Like I said depends on what u want. Oh, my older sis got that done and the reality of it was remarkable! It looked so real! You will look good, i see you have blonde hair just like hers so if you can afford it- Go for it!
There are SO MANY variables. I've had experience with the Great Lengths extensions (they are the cadillac of extensions, don't cause damage to the hair like some of the other methods do and the hair is the most beautiful human hair I've seen!) If you do Great Lengths, most salons have you do a 50% down deposit and that is what they purchase the hair with. The thickness of your own hair will determine how many bundles of hair they have to order to put in your hair. Thin hair...4-5 bundles. Thick hair....7-8. And everywhere in between! 8 inches is the shortest length they can order and I'm guessing it would cost between $1000 - $1500 US. Like I said, they are the cadillac of all the hair extensions. Those will last anywhere from 3-6 months depending on how fast your hair grows and how well you maintain them.
The only other ones I've heard about are some tape-in ones (ick!) and those ran $300-500 US. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time or money on those kind. I guess they stick for some people and for others they don't.
The main advice I can tell you is don't get synthetic extensions. Sure they are cheaper, but after about a week, your hair gets to looking so knarly. There are also different types of human hair extensions. The source makes a difference. You want to make sure that the cuticles all run the same direction. Some hair manufacturers don't do that and if the cuticle runs different directions, then after a week or so you also have a big tangled mess.

It all depends, you can have them sewed or glued in. If you go to the salon and have them sewed in they will last longer prolly around 3-4mths depending on if u take good care of them. If you glue them in, you will prolly get to keep them in for about 3-4wks and its really hard to get the glue out. U have to put a glue bond remover lotion and massage it on ur hair to get it out. As for the inches, you can get them basically any inch I think ranging from 8-24inches.. I'm not sure if it actually goes to 24inches but I kno if definitely goes to 18inches. And if u think that's 2 long u can always cut it urself or have a beautican cut it for u in a style. As for how u get it done, some salons u can buy the hair there and they will do it for u. I kno that it may cost a lot. but usually u can get on the interent or go to a local store and buy the hair and then take it to the salon and get it done. U would have to ask the ppl who are going to do it 4 u. If u are going to use the glue, jus go to a place where you bought the hair and they should have the glue there, they make it in black for black ppl and white for white ppl. lol. Price range is differnet depending on the quality and if u want synthetic or actual human hair.. Human hair u can curl and do all that good stuff wit it, and its more. Synthetic u cannot curl it. They usually come in big bulk ranging anywhere from $8.99-$53.00 or more a pack. Like I said depends on what u want. Oh, my older sis got that done and the reality of it was remarkable! It looked so real! You will look good, i see you have blonde hair just like hers so if you can afford it- Go for it!
There are SO MANY variables. I've had experience with the Great Lengths extensions (they are the cadillac of extensions, don't cause damage to the hair like some of the other methods do and the hair is the most beautiful human hair I've seen!) If you do Great Lengths, most salons have you do a 50% down deposit and that is what they purchase the hair with. The thickness of your own hair will determine how many bundles of hair they have to order to put in your hair. Thin hair...4-5 bundles. Thick hair....7-8. And everywhere in between! 8 inches is the shortest length they can order and I'm guessing it would cost between $1000 - $1500 US. Like I said, they are the cadillac of all the hair extensions. Those will last anywhere from 3-6 months depending on how fast your hair grows and how well you maintain them.
The only other ones I've heard about are some tape-in ones (ick!) and those ran $300-500 US. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time or money on those kind. I guess they stick for some people and for others they don't.
The main advice I can tell you is don't get synthetic extensions. Sure they are cheaper, but after about a week, your hair gets to looking so knarly. There are also different types of human hair extensions. The source makes a difference. You want to make sure that the cuticles all run the same direction. Some hair manufacturers don't do that and if the cuticle runs different directions, then after a week or so you also have a big tangled mess.

Ones on ebay are 拢30 which is an idylic price. Anything higher than that i might not consider.. as its only for one night.

I'm an Australian girl aswell and I have recently brought the hair extensions that you are talking about.
I got mine from ';Hairhouse Warehouse'; and they were $200.
However, when saying that, they are real human hair which costs more than fake hair. I think that speading the extra dollars on real hair is definantly worth it because real human hair you can straighten, curl, wash, basically you can do just about anything to them that you would do to your real hair. Whereas fake hair extensions can have no heat applied to them what-so-ever!
Also they match your hair perfectly with the extensions to make sure that the extensions appear natural looking.
If you are not willing to speand that much money on hair extensions you can search ';hair extensions'; on eBay and it comes up with many results. The extensions on there are all around $90-$100. My brothers girlfriend got hers of eBay but I was to scared to as I didnt want to recieve extensions that didnt match my hair colour, it looks fake and cheap. However she said that you can pring a page of possible coulours of and match is near your hair and if they post it and its not what you wanted you can repost them and get your money back. Make sure that when buying on eBay if you are looking for real human hair you read the description or you may get ripped off.

The brand I bought was Diva - they're sold on these temporary racks outside beauty and hair stores, like Hairhouse Warehouse, Catwalk, Eric's Salon and Price Attack. If you are not willing to speand that much money on hair extensions you can search ';hair extensions'; on eBay and it comes up with many results. The extensions on there are all around $90-$100. My brothers girlfriend got hers of eBay but I was to scared to as I didnt want to recieve extensions that didnt match my hair colour, it looks fake and cheap. However she said that you can pring a page of possible coulours of and match is near your hair and if they post it and its not what you wanted you can repost them and get your money back. Make sure that when buying on eBay if you are looking for real human hair you read the description or you may get ripped off.

The brand I bought was Diva - they're sold on these temporary racks outside beauty and hair stores, like Hairhouse Warehouse, Catwalk, Eric's Salon and Price Attack. depending on how good the hair is... they can get really pricey. instead of doing that maybe buy real hair clip ins but the really god ones. i own them and put them underneath my top layers sometimes for special ocassions and they are really nice and real hair and stay in really good, they have bang ones too.
bout 20 to 40 bucks

Well since they're real hair and not synthetic crap...you can treat them like your own hair, just be gentle when it's wet and maybe use some detangling spray when styling.Whats the best way to wash and straighten real hair extentions?

If they are fusion you can wash with your normal shampoo but be extremely gentle and wash it no more than twice a week.
If they are glued, absolutely no conditioner anywhere near you scalp. You can run A LITTLE conditioner near the ends, that's it!
Straightening:
Gently towel blot your hair.
Gently use your fingers and a blow dryer just to remove the bulk of the moisture.
With a flat paddle brush starting from ends to scalp gently on high heat blow dry your hair, staying at least 3 inches away from the scalp depending on where extensions start.
If it is not straight enough you can use a ceramic straighter again on high and avoiding three inches from the scalp.
Big Hint!
Just because it's human hair does not mean it's not processed! It is treated for lice per federal law and almost all hair is color treated hence the need to be so gentle with it.

Always use as cold of water as possible to help keep the glue in tact, preserve color and keep the hair shiny.

I did pull out a few of my own hairs, but it worked pretty well. If the hair extensions are old, it may be easy to pull them out gently without any aid. All you have to do is pull a little piece (like 1/2 the size of the extension) of your hair through the loop. Then pull the little thing on the end of the loop, mines a tiny black cylinder yours probably are too. That pulls your hair thru the metal circle that the extension is glued to. Then make sure the extension is close to your scalp and take the pliers and squeeze the metal circle at the top of your extension. That squashes it flat and clamps it to your hair.
Repeat a gazillion times and presto!

All you have to do is pull a little piece (like 1/2 the size of the extension) of your hair through the loop. Then pull the little thing on the end of the loop, mines a tiny black cylinder yours probably are too. That pulls your hair thru the metal circle that the extension is glued to. Then make sure the extension is close to your scalp and take the pliers and squeeze the metal circle at the top of your extension. That squashes it flat and clamps it to your hair.
Repeat a gazillion times and presto!

If you have naturally colored hair then definitely have naturally color extensions.

The clip in extentions comes in straight and curly. What I want to know is should I get the Straight extentions and then just straighten my hair everyday? Or should I get the curly extentions. The problem is with the curly ones my hair is supper frizzy so i dont think it will ever look right. Wow those are really long!! I'd definitely recommend clip-ins because they will last much longer, they're not painful, and they won't damage your hair! (as long as you don't sleep in them). I always get mine from Sally's. I just buy the cips and sew them on to the hair. To get the hair thick enough you have to first sew 2-3 pieces of hair together and then sew the clips on. The hair comes sewn on to one long strand so you cut the correct length of strand for wherever you're going to put it. I do one long piece that goes across the back of my head (3 strands thick), two shorter pieces for each side of my head (2 strands thick) and then two 1-strand pieces for the sides of my head to go over the thicker piece and a 1-strand piece for the back of my head. Make sure you get 100% human hair because it will last much longer and you can brush, wash, straighten, curl, and blowdry it. Plus, synthetic just looks really fake. I think they go up to twenty inches and it's about 50 dollars. I wouldn't got that long though. You have to think, by the time it's 20 inches long, the hair is about 3 1/2 years old at the ends, which means it's not as healthy and strong as say an 18 inch, and it won't last as long. I'd recommend an 18 inch. It really does look amazing though. My hair less than shoulder-length and I wear them daily. As for sew-in or weave, it will HURT and cost anywhere from 300.00 to 1500.00, plus the cost of hair. You could get a fusion too, but the chemicals they use to bond the extensions to your hair are soo harsh! If your hair is not healthy, do not get a weave, sew-in, or fusion!! Your hair will literally break off at the roots where it's been braided or bonded and you'll end up with a buzzcut. Sooo not hot.
Like I said, I totally recommend clip-ins. The best! They're the only extensions I'd use, especially since my hair is fried from bleaching =[[

For good ones, around $200. They would stay in for about 3-4 months depending on how fast your hair grows. I have clip-on's that were around $80 that are really good. From Sally's I'd personally recommend the clip-on's if you want to take them out you can, fun for quick length.
