What is the best looking method of attaching hair extentions?

price is no factor. i just want the best looking extentions possible. What is the best looking method of attaching hair extentions?
If hair for a few weeks is your thing, then use the braid and sew.

If you are looking for a longer time frame of 3-4 months than look into the glue. There are two methods for gluing. One is the same as the braid and sew (also known as a weave). The other is attaching small sections of preglued hair to small sections of your own hair.

You should keep in mind none of this can be done by yourself (unless you have 4 arms and can use each one independantly of each other, 12 mirrors and Ripley's knocking at your door).

Hair can range in price from Sally's $60.00 to internet purchase of $1000.00. Check this web site out and look through every page, you should get a really great understanding of the different types of hair and the applications used: www.glamourhair.com

Your best bet is to go to your phone book and look up a salon that specializing in weaving and ask for a consultation.

Good Luck!!What is the best looking method of attaching hair extentions?
go to a black salon they do it best. white people haven't the first clue. and they will have to braid your hair and sew them in.
I would recommend going to a high end salon and seeing how they are all done. This will help you to decide which one is the best for you. One of the most popular methods is the fusion method (which involves protein glue). If this method is done correctly, it feels more natural than the braids (but is a tedious process). It also needs to be maintained and removed properly to avoid damage to your own hair. I wouldn't recommend this procedure if your hair is greasy or conditioned. There is also pre-tipped extensions which instead of being applied to 15-20 strands of hair at a time with separate glue, already have the glue there which can be activated by heat.

If you want to avoid the glue damage, there are braids (which also can rip out and split your hair if not done right). These can be combine with mini links (aka micro locs) or even shrinkies as well. These are less bulky than braids and not as damaging as glue.

Of course there is the oldie weave...probably still the most popular way to add extensions.

Overall, I would say try image by kimarie...their method is a little safer than braids and glue.

I'd have to save braid 'n sew would be your best bet. Just DON'T get them glued in. I've had too many horror stories of friends losing hair or hurting their scalps from the glue.
I only glue in when I don't have time to get to the hair dressers. I am all about having it sewn in it is better for your hair. Having to remove that glue is a pain and can be messy and damaging. I currently have mine sewn in. Fusion is good but can sometimes be damaging. I am growning my hair out that is why I have it sewn in. Good luck.
