My 14 year old daughter wants hair extentions gor her birthday?

My daughter is turning 15 soon and for her birthday she has asked for 2 inch pink, blue, and yellow clip in hair extentions . my question is how much would this cost and would they look good spread out on top of her blonde hair?and what would other parents think if i got her them?My 14 year old daughter wants hair extentions gor her birthday?
id say go for it i think theyd look lovely in her blonde hair at least its better than her dying itMy 14 year old daughter wants hair extentions gor her birthday?
I would do it, clip in extensions are no big deal. My daughter is 12 and asked for real extensions and highlights also. The real extensions wont hurt her hair, as long as you go to a reputable salon. Be prepared to spend around $150 or more for real extensions because it can get expensive when its professional. They want really freaky colors, but its ok. They are only young once and you will be a really ';cool'; mom to her. I think thats important. They are getting to that age where we need them to still be open to us. I think bonding over hair is a really good ';in'; into her life.
I'm not sure what the exact price would be, and they differ from salon to salon, but they usually run a couple hundred bucks.

Since they are the clip ons, it's not that big of a deal, cause they come right off. But the ones that get glued in are just bad news...girls always end up dying their hair an unnatural color for them, and they have to keep dying it or the color will fade, or roots will show. So that's defiantly not a good idea.

Other parents are going to think what they will think. But that's kinda interesting you say that, cause there is probably a mother-daughter correlation. Daughter wants people to think better of her cause of her hair, mom wants other people to think better of her based on how she deals with her daughter wanting hair extensions. So maybe you should give her an example that she should do what is in her best interest, and not necessarily what she will be thought of.
They shouldn't cost alot, about $10 each?

Usually when you go to buy them you can try them out on your hair beforehand so you can see if it'll look good on her hair or not.

You shouldn't worry what other parents would think.. after all she is YOUR daughter and not theirs.

I've got purple and pink clip ins and they look really nice, i've got blondish brown hair right now.
If it's just for fun and only for her party then go for it! My daughter is 6 and in love with Hannah Montana, and that is something she would want. As long as you aren't dying her hair! You can check Claire's, Sally's beauty supply, even Wal-Mart has Hannah Montana hair pieces, they may have colored ones!
They shouldn't be too expensive if you get the kind that you can clip in yourself. Check some stores online and some hair salons...You can even buy the blond ones at Zellers or whatever dept store you have there... then cut them and use Punky colour hair dye which is NOT permanent to dye them...That would be about 9 bucks for a container of temporary dye cream and the extensions are like 4 bucks a pack so you need one pack cause you get a lot..
nothing there just extension but id look at websites of the stores where u can buy them 2 check 4 the price and shes not dying it so there should be no trouble with other parent its not like their permanent but its her birthday make it special 4 her.
I have 12 natural coloured ones (dark brown) and that cost me about $200NZD. Per piece in the US I have seen them advertised for $12.
i'm 13 and i have clip in pink ones.

they're really cute and i bought mine from sallys beauty salon for 8 dollars
I wouldn't do the extensions. They can ruin her real hair. Go for highlights instead.
