How should I cut my new hair extentions?

Ive never had them before and there is just one longgg piece of hair.


I have to sew the clips on myself also.


How should I cut the hair?


The guy in the shop said to double the hair over to make it thicker should I really do this?How should I cut my new hair extentions?

Im wearing them now actually.


I just took the big strip of hair and cut into sections that


I wanted, like certain sizes for the front and certain sizes for the back, etc.


But doubling them will make it thicker, and sometimes make it seem longer too.


I didnt double mine, but my hair still looks longer. (:
